We all take great care of our pearly whites from childhood onwards. Most of us brush our teeth twice daily and visit the dentist at least every year. In spite, of this we still end up needing fillings and other dental work. How often do you look in your pet’s mouth to see how their teeth are?

Recent studies have shown that 9 in 10 adult dogs and 7 in 10 adult cats have periodontal disease!

Poor dental health can have a detrimental effect on the kidneys and heart of your pet, as well as their appetite and of course their breath, too.

Throughout February we are offered a free dental health check-up with one of our Veterinary Nurses. They assessed the current condition of pet’s teeth gave advice on preventative healthcare, brushing your pet’s teeth and diet.

We have had a fantastic uptake of our free checks and will be looking to repeat the initiative for other areas of pet health over the coming months. Keep an eye on your emails and our website for further information.
